We chose this place to finish off our honeymoon and we couldn't have been happier with our decision. the bungalow we stayed in was clean, spacious, and offered great value for money. Surrounded by nature, it was incredibly peaceful and quiet. the food was delicious, with a choice of Sri Lankan or Western cuisine for breakfast and dinner. the highlight of our stay was the tranquil and serene atmosphere, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. the staff were extremely friendly and made us feel right at home. We didn't want to leave, as it was the perfect end to our honeymoon experience!
Everything was spot on! 👌.

I had such a peaceful and memorable stay at a tranquil riverside hotel in Sri Lanka. Away from the touristy scene, it was the perfect location to truly experience authentic Sri Lankan hospitality. The bungalow we stayed in was always spotless and the fresh flower petals on our bed each morning added a special touch. The chef and his team in the kitchen prepared the most magical Sri Lankan dishes, and we even got to help prepare our own lunch. The sweet Sri Lankan pancakes were a definite highlight! Exploring the surrounding areas with Gupul as our guide was a fantastic experience. We took a day trip to Galle, making several stops along the way, and enjoyed a leisurely stroll on Unawatunga beach. The turtle conservancy was also a memorable visit. The hotel grounds were lush and peaceful, and dining by the river during sunset was absolutely enchanting. I highly recommend this hotel for a tranquil and authentic Sri Lankan experience.

I recently stayed at this 4-star hotel and had a fantastic experience. The location of this place is perfect if you want to escape the crowded town and enjoy some peace and tranquility. The hotel is nestled by a beautiful river, surrounded by lush gardens and palm trees. It truly feels like a luxurious and exclusive retreat. The rooms are spacious and well-kept, with private gardens for added privacy. The food here is simply amazing, the best I had during my trip to Sri Lanka. The chef prepares delicious meals that are always freshly made. The dining tables by the river offer a picturesque setting to enjoy your meals.
I would highly recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

Me and my squad had the sickest time at this spot by the river. We were partying like it was 1999 and turned our regular bachelorette party into the craziest, most epic event ever. The hotel had all the perks we needed to make it legendary, from unlimited water consumption to keep us hydrated to an awesome abdominal muscle roller to get those abs poppin'! Trust me, it was off the chain!
The only thing we could ask for to make our turn up even better would be a banging nightclub on site. We were ready to dance the night away, but had to find our own party spots in town.

Nestled in the heart of lush jungle, this hotel is a perfect getaway from the hustles of city life. the rooms are spacious and airy with comfortable beds and large bathrooms. the staff is friendly and hospitable, and they take care of all your needs. the food is delicious and fresh, with plenty of options. Don't miss out on the boat ride that takes you through the mangroves and the serene beauty of the river. the spa services are excellent, and the whole experience is nothing short of rejuvenating.
The location is not close to any beach or seaside attraction.

Spent new year with friends in a hotel by the river. Loved the boat ride they offered and the fireworks show was amazing! The pool was clean and perfect to relax in. Also, enjoyed waking up to the sound of birds and the beautiful view of the river in the morning.
We had a few problems during our stay. The room was not cleaned properly and the towels were dirty. The breakfast had limited options and the food was not fresh. The staff was not very friendly and did not seem interested in helping us with anything. Also, the location was quite far from any shops or restaurants, making it difficult to venture out. I would not recommend staying here.

As soon as I arrived, the staff were very welcoming and helped me check in quickly. The hotel facilities were great, especially the beautiful pool surrounded by tropical plants. The breakfast each morning was delicious; I particularly enjoyed the fresh fruit and the eggs. The location was also fantastic - being near the beach and close to the lake made it easy to explore the area by boat or foot. The staff were very helpful in arranging transportation for me to explore this city.
Not one thing.
